Description
Create vibrant wax paper flower suncatchers that brighten up any space and let your creativity bloom.
Ingredients
- Wax paper
- Crayons (various colors)
- Iron
- Parchment paper
- Scissors
- String or yarn (for hanging)
- Hole punch (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Wax Paper by cutting two sheets to your desired size and laying one sheet flat.
- Create Crayon Shavings by shaving crayons into small bits with a grater or knife.
- Spread the Crayon Shavings evenly over the wax paper, leaving space around the edges.
- Layer the Wax Paper by placing the second sheet on top of the shavings.
- Iron the Sheets by preheating the iron to a low setting without steam and placing parchment paper on top. Gently press the iron for a few seconds until melted.
- Cut Out Flower Shapes once cooled using scissors.
- Create a Hanging Mechanism by optionally punching a hole at the top and threading string or yarn through.
Notes
Use pastel crayons for softer hues or neon for bright results. Experiment with shapes and textures.
