Description

Create vibrant wax paper flower suncatchers that brighten up any space and let your creativity bloom.

Ingredients

  • Wax paper
  • Crayons (various colors)
  • Iron
  • Parchment paper
  • Scissors
  • String or yarn (for hanging)
  • Hole punch (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wax Paper by cutting two sheets to your desired size and laying one sheet flat.
  2. Create Crayon Shavings by shaving crayons into small bits with a grater or knife.
  3. Spread the Crayon Shavings evenly over the wax paper, leaving space around the edges.
  4. Layer the Wax Paper by placing the second sheet on top of the shavings.
  5. Iron the Sheets by preheating the iron to a low setting without steam and placing parchment paper on top. Gently press the iron for a few seconds until melted.
  6. Cut Out Flower Shapes once cooled using scissors.
  7. Create a Hanging Mechanism by optionally punching a hole at the top and threading string or yarn through.

Notes

Use pastel crayons for softer hues or neon for bright results. Experiment with shapes and textures.
