Description

Create whimsical Valentine’s Day gnomes that make charming decorations or heartfelt gifts.

Ingredients

  • Craft felt (red, pink, white)
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Cotton or fiberfill stuffing
  • Wooden beads (for noses)
  • Marker (for facial features)
  • Twine or ribbon (for finishing touches)
  • Embellishments like sequins or sparkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut a large triangle from the red felt for the gnome’s body (about 12 inches tall), and a small circle from white felt for the beard.
  2. Fold the triangle in half, right sides together, and glue along the edge. Turn it inside out to create the gnome’s body.
  3. Take the white felt circle and fold it in half. Glue it to the bottom of the triangle to create the gnome’s beard.
  4. Glue a wooden bead centered above the beard on the triangle for the nose.
  5. Cut a smaller triangle from the red felt for the gnome’s hat. Glue it upside-down on top of the head, allowing it to fall slightly forward.
  6. Use twine or ribbon to adorn your gnome’s hat. Glue on sequins or other decorations as desired.
  7. Carefully stuff the body of the gnome with cotton or fiberfill using a skewer or your fingers.

Notes

Customize colors and materials as per your preference. Consider varying sizes and create a whole gnome family!
