Description
Create whimsical Valentine’s Day gnomes that make charming decorations or heartfelt gifts.
Ingredients
- Craft felt (red, pink, white)
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Cotton or fiberfill stuffing
- Wooden beads (for noses)
- Marker (for facial features)
- Twine or ribbon (for finishing touches)
- Embellishments like sequins or sparkles (optional)
Instructions
- Cut a large triangle from the red felt for the gnome’s body (about 12 inches tall), and a small circle from white felt for the beard.
- Fold the triangle in half, right sides together, and glue along the edge. Turn it inside out to create the gnome’s body.
- Take the white felt circle and fold it in half. Glue it to the bottom of the triangle to create the gnome’s beard.
- Glue a wooden bead centered above the beard on the triangle for the nose.
- Cut a smaller triangle from the red felt for the gnome’s hat. Glue it upside-down on top of the head, allowing it to fall slightly forward.
- Use twine or ribbon to adorn your gnome’s hat. Glue on sequins or other decorations as desired.
- Carefully stuff the body of the gnome with cotton or fiberfill using a skewer or your fingers.
