Description
Create colorful, tie-dye bouncy balls that are both fun and visually stunning. Ideal for playtime and craft activities.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of white school glue
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of borax
- Food coloring or liquid watercolors
- Bowels for mixing
- Elastic balloons (5” or 6”)
- A spoon for mixing
- A whisk or a fork (optional, for mixing)
- Gloves (optional, to avoid staining hands)
Instructions
- In one bowl, mix 1 cup of water and 1 cup of white school glue. Stir well until combined.
- In another bowl, dissolve 1 teaspoon of borax in 1/2 cup of hot water. Stir until fully dissolved and let it cool.
- Divide your glue mixture into smaller bowls based on the colors you want and add food coloring or liquid watercolors to each bowl.
- Slowly pour the borax solution into the colored glue mixture and stir quickly.
- Let the mixture sit for a minute, then take a portion and roll it into a ball shape.
- Stretch the neck of an elastic balloon, insert the bouncy ball, and tie it off securely.
- Place the bouncy balls in a safe place to dry for a few hours or overnight.
Notes
Consider adding glitter or glow-in-the-dark paint for extra fun!
