Description

Create a soothing stress relief toy using simple materials like balloons and cotton balls, perfect for mindfulness and relaxation.

Ingredients

  • Balloons (medium to large size, easy to squeeze)
  • Cotton balls (soft and fluffy)
  • Scissors (optional, for trimming balloon tops)
  • Funnel or a makeshift funnel (like a paper cone)
  • A small bowl or dish (to hold cotton balls)
  • Optional: Aromatic oils or scents (for a sensory surprise)

Instructions

  1. Select a balloon. Notice its shape and color. The anticipation builds as you blow it up a little to stretch it.
  2. Using the funnel, gently stuff cotton balls into the balloon. Feel the soft fluffiness between your fingers.
  3. As you fill, pause to enjoy the soft compression of the cotton inside. Squeeze the balloon slightly.
  4. When the balloon feels sufficiently filled, tie a comfortable knot at the opening.
  5. Carefully trim any excess balloon material from the knot if needed, making a smooth edge.
  6. Engage with your new toy. Squeeze it gently and notice how the cotton responds to your touch.

Notes

Experiment with different balloon sizes and add aromatic oils for additional sensory experiences.
