Description

Craft a simple and soothing anti-stress toy using fabric and fillings to enhance your tranquility.

Ingredients

  • Soft cotton fabric (various colors)
  • Dried rice, beans, or lentils
  • Needle and thread (or a sewing machine)
  • Scissors (sharp but manageable)
  • Optional embellishments (like ribbons or buttons)
  • A funnel (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting two squares from your chosen fabric, each measuring approximately 6 inches by 6 inches.
  2. Place the squares together, wrong sides facing.
  3. Pin the edges gently, or sew straight away without pins if you prefer.
  4. Starting from one corner, sew around the edges, leaving a 2-inch gap open.
  5. Turn the fabric inside out carefully to hide the seams.
  6. Use the funnel to fill your pouch with dried rice, beans, or lentils until plump, but not overly full.
  7. Hand-stitch the opening closed, taking your time.
  8. Lastly, add any embellishments to personalize your stress toy.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the materials based on what you have at home. This toy can be reused by changing the filling for a fresh experience.
