- H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook
- One yarn needle with a blunt tip
- Small scissors
- One stitch marker (optional)
- A tape measure
- One 3/4-inch button
Instructions

- Row 1: Make 1 double crochet in the third chain from your hook. Continue with 1 double crochet in each chain across.

- Repeat Row 2 until you have 14 rows total.
- Continue for 6 more rows to make the flap, totaling 20 rows.
- Fasten off after Row 20, leaving a yarn tail about 18 inches long.
- Fold the lower edge upward to meet the point where the flap begins.
- Use the yarn needle to sew both sides closed with small whip stitches.
- Turn the pouch right side out.
- Mark the button position on the flap and sew on the button securely.
- Weave in the ends and trim the extra yarn.
Notes
