- 1 cup table salt
- 1 cup water (filtered)
- Rolling pin
- Cookie cutters (flower shapes)

- Magnets
Instructions
- Mix 2 cups of all-purpose flour with 1 cup of salt in a large bowl.
- Add 1 cup of water slowly, mixing until the dough holds together.
- Knead the dough on a clean surface for 5 to 10 minutes until smooth and warm.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use cookie cutters to press out flower shapes.
- Impress designs into the petals using tools or fingers.
- Place the formed flowers on a baking sheet and dry them in a preheated oven at 200°F for 120 minutes.
- Paint the cooled flowers with soft brushes.
- Apply a clear sealant if desired.
- Attach magnets to the back of each flower with strong adhesive.
Notes
Store your salt dough magnets in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Refresh them with paint or reshape if needed.
