A vibrant and eco-friendly way to dye eggs using rice and food coloring.
Ingredients
- White eggs (hard-boiled)
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Ziplock bags or bowls
- Gloves (optional)
- Vinegar (optional)

Instructions
- Start with hard-boiled white eggs; ensure they are cool and dry.
- In a separate bowl or Ziplock bag, add 1 cup of uncooked rice.
- Add about 10-20 drops of food coloring to the rice.
- For brighter colors, add a splash of vinegar.
- Seal the bag or cover the bowl, then shake well until the rice is evenly coated.
- Place a hard-boiled egg in the bag or bowl with colored rice.
- Shake gently to coat the egg and create a textured design.
- Leave the egg in the rice for about 5-10 minutes depending on color intensity.
- Remove the egg and wipe off excess rice.
- Place the egg on a paper towel to dry completely.
