Description

Transform simple materials into beautiful translucent flowers with this calming DIY project.

Ingredients

  • Fresh or silk tulip petals
  • Epoxy resin
  • Mixing cups
  • Craft sticks
  • Gloves
  • Optional pigments or dyes
  • A heat source (torch or heat gun)
  • A protective surface

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace: Find a comfortable spot with plenty of light and cover your table with a protective layer.
  2. Mix the resin: Combine equal parts from the two containers and mix gently with a craft stick.
  3. Add color: Stir in pigments or dyes until smooth and even.
  4. Dip the petals: Carefully dip each tulip petal into the resin mixture.
  5. Allow excess to drip: Hold the petal over the mixing cup to let excess resin drip back.
  6. Repeat for remaining petals: Continue the dipping process with each petal.
  7. Dry: Place the dipped petals on a flat surface to dry for several hours.
  8. Final touches: Optionally add another layer of clear resin and allow to dry again.
  9. Assemble the tulip: Attach petals to a sturdy stem with adhesive and arrange them.

Notes

Store finished projects away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain clarity.
