Description
A simple and joyful craft project for families to create colorful Rainbow Suncatchers that brighten up any space.
Ingredients
- Transparent or translucent contact paper
- Colored tissue paper
- Scissors
- A pencil or pen
- Optional: string or ribbon for hanging
Instructions
- Begin by cutting two squares of contact paper, about 8×8 inches.
- Next, tear or cut your colored tissue paper into small pieces.
- Place the first square of contact paper sticky-side up on your workspace.
- Arrange the pieces of tissue paper onto the contact paper, overlapping them slightly.
- Once you’re satisfied with your design, carefully peel the second square of contact paper and lay it sticky-side down on top of your tissue paper collage.
- Trim the edges of your suncatcher, leaving a small border of contact paper around the tissue.
- If desired, punch a hole at the top of your suncatcher and thread a piece of string or ribbon through to hang.
- Find a window where the sunlight can shine through and hang your creation.
Notes
Keep suncatchers out of direct sunlight for extended periods to maintain color vibrancy. Use gentle care to clean them as needed.
