Description

A playful and serene DIY project to create a colorful bird feeder using pool noodles, inviting nature to your garden.

Ingredients

  • Pool noodles (varied colors)
  • Scissors (sharp enough to cut through foam)
  • Wooden dowel or sturdy branch (for the swing’s support)
  • Twine or string (to hang the feeder)
  • Birdseed (for feeding)
  • Optional: paintbrush and non-toxic glue (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pool Noodles: Choose your vibrant pool noodles. Cut them into segments, each around 6 to 8 inches long.
  2. Create the Swing Base: Take the wooden dowel or sturdy branch.
  3. Assemble the Noodles: Use your twine or string to attach the segments of the pool noodle to the dowel.
  4. Attach Hanging Twine: Cut two equal lengths of twine. Tie one end around each side of the dowel to create loops.
  5. Add Birdseed: Place a handful of birdseed on top of the assembled noodles.
  6. Hang and Enjoy: Find a suitable spot in your garden or on your balcony and gently suspend your creation.

Notes

Consider decorating the feeder with glitter or small decorations to enhance its visual appeal.
