Ingredients
- Clear glass or plastic heart-shaped mold
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 2 cups boiling water
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Spoon for stirring
- Small container for mixing
- Wax paper or parchment paper
- Optional: glitter for extra sparkle
Instructions
- Boil 2 cups of water in a pot.
- In a separate container, combine 1 cup of Epsom salt with the boiling water and stir until dissolved.
- Divide the saltwater mixture into smaller containers and add food coloring to each.
- Carefully pour the colored mixtures into the heart-shaped mold to create a rainbow effect.
- Allow the mold to sit undisturbed for about 24 hours to let crystals form.
- Once dry, gently remove the heart from the mold and let it dry completely on wax paper.
