A delightful DIY project to create a colorful wind spinner using old CDs and tissue paper, enhancing your garden or window space.
Ingredients
- 1-2 old CDs
- Colorful tissue paper (or other vibrant paper)
- Scissors
- Clear-drying glue
- String or fishing line
- Hole punch
- Optional: markers or paints for decoration
Instructions
- Take your old CD and clean it gently with a soft cloth.
- Cut small pieces of colored tissue paper into shapes.
- Apply a thin layer of glue on the shiny side of the CD.
- Begin placing your tissue paper pieces onto the glue, overlapping them slightly.
- Once the glue is dry, use the hole punch to create a hole at the top center of the CD.
- Cut a length of string and thread it through the hole, tying a secure knot.
- Find a spot outside, tie your spinner, and witness the dancing colors.
Notes
Store in a cool, dry place during harsh weather. Refresh with additional tissue paper or paint as needed.
