Description

A delightful DIY project to create a colorful wind spinner using old CDs and tissue paper, enhancing your garden or window space.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 old CDs
  • Colorful tissue paper (or other vibrant paper)
  • Scissors
  • Clear-drying glue
  • String or fishing line
  • Hole punch
  • Optional: markers or paints for decoration

Instructions

  1. Take your old CD and clean it gently with a soft cloth.
  2. Cut small pieces of colored tissue paper into shapes.
  3. Apply a thin layer of glue on the shiny side of the CD.
  4. Begin placing your tissue paper pieces onto the glue, overlapping them slightly.
  5. Once the glue is dry, use the hole punch to create a hole at the top center of the CD.
  6. Cut a length of string and thread it through the hole, tying a secure knot.
  7. Find a spot outside, tie your spinner, and witness the dancing colors.

Notes

Store in a cool, dry place during harsh weather. Refresh with additional tissue paper or paint as needed.
