Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Lay out all materials on a clean, flat surface. Cover the area with newspaper or a mat to catch any spills.
- Combine Glue and Water: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of white school glue with 1 tablespoon of water. Stir well until fully mixed.
- Add Colors: Divide the mixture into separate bowls if using multiple colors. Add food coloring to each mix until achieving desired shades.
- Make the Borax Solution: In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 teaspoon of borax with 1 tablespoon of warm water until dissolved.
- Combine Mixtures: Pour the borax solution into the glue mixture. The mixture will start to thicken.
- Add Corn Starch: Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of corn starch and mix until it forms a pliable mass.
- Form the Balls: Use hands to knead the mixture gently and form small balls about the size of a marble.
- Let Dry: Place the balls on a baking sheet or wax paper and let dry for a few hours or overnight.
