Ingredients
- Clear glue
- Food coloring (or liquid watercolor)
- Wax paper or a non-stick surface
- Small plastic shapes (like cupcake liners)
- Scissors
- Paintbrush
- Optional: string or ribbon
Instructions
- Start by laying a protective sheet of wax paper on your workspace.
- Pour a small amount of clear glue onto the wax paper.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the glue.
- Using your paintbrush, stir the glue gently.
- Once you’re satisfied with the swirl, use your brush to create shapes on the wax paper.
- If using plastic shapes, place them into the wet glue.
- Allow the suncatchers to dry completely.
- When the glue is dry, gently peel the suncatchers away from the wax paper.
- If you’d like to display them, cut lengths of string or ribbon, and tie them to the top edges of your suncatchers.
