Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Punch red food coloring (liquid or powder)

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white sugar with 1/2 cup of water. Add several drops of punch red food coloring and mix until evenly colored.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the mixture onto the sheet, spreading it out evenly. Aim for a thin layer.
- Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours to harden completely, or place it in a low-temperature oven (around 200°F / 93°C) for 1-2 hours.
- Once dry, break the hardened mixture into small, shiny crystals.
