Description

A calming DIY project that combines pressed flowers and glass to create beautiful stained glass art.

Ingredients

  • Pressed flowers (varied colors and types)
  • Clear glass or transparency sheets
  • Clear glue or Mod Podge
  • A paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Cardboard or a sturdy surface
  • A soft cloth

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing your workspace. Lay down cardboard to create a protective layer.
  2. Arrange your pressed flowers on a piece of glass, exploring different layouts.
  3. Once satisfied with your arrangement, gently lift the flowers to avoid crushing them.
  4. Use a thin layer of clear glue or Mod Podge on the glass surface where each flower will sit.
  5. Carefully lay the flowers back onto the adhesive surface.
  6. After placing all the flowers, use another sheet of glass to create a sandwich-like effect.
  7. Now, apply a thin layer of glue around the edges of the glass to secure the two pieces together.
  8. Leave your pressed flower stained glass to dry.
  9. Once the piece is dry, clean the glass gently using a soft cloth.

Notes

Store your stained glass piece in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid harsh chemicals for cleaning.
