- Craft feathers or paper for wings
- Scissors
- Pipe cleaners (optional)
- Small googly eyes (optional)
- A small cup of water (for rinsing brushes)

Instructions
- Begin by laying out your popsicle sticks on a clean, flat surface.
- Decide how many butterflies you would like to create, and arrange them accordingly.
- Choose your paint colors and dip your brush into your first color, painting one side of the popsicle stick.
- Allow the paint to dry for a few minutes.
- Paint the opposite side of the popsicle stick with another color.
- Prepare your wings by cutting out butterfly wing shapes from craft feathers or paper.
- Take the dried painted stick, apply glue to one side, and press your wings onto the glued area.
- If using googly eyes, apply a drop of glue where you’d like them to sit.
- To create moving wings, fold a pipe cleaner in half and twist it around the top of the popsicle stick to form antennae.
- Give your butterflies a moment to dry fully.
- Gather all your butterflies and gently test their moving wings.
