Description

A delightful DIY project to create a calming penguin sensory bottle for children.


Ingredients

  • Clear plastic bottle (empty water or soda bottle)
  • Blue food coloring
  • Clear corn syrup or glycerin
  • Fake snow or white glitter
  • Penguin figurine or cutout
  • Warm water
  • Funnel (optional)
  • Hot glue gun (for securing the lid)


Instructions

  1. Clean the plastic bottle thoroughly.
  2. Using a funnel, fill the bottle one-third full with warm water and add blue food coloring.
  3. Pour in clear corn syrup or glycerin until the bottle is almost full.
  4. Sprinkle in fake snow or white glitter, then drop in the penguin figurine or cutout.
  5. Seal the bottle tightly and use a hot glue gun to secure the lid.
  6. Shake the bottle gently and enjoy the swirling ‘snow’.
