Description

A delightful no-bake dessert combining the flavors of a classic banana split, layered with creamy goodness, fresh bananas, and chocolate syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar gradually, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in one cup of whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture over the graham cracker crust.
  5. Evenly distribute the sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer. Follow with a layer of crushed pineapple, spreading it gently.
  6. Pour chocolate syrup generously over the fruit layer.
  7. Add the remaining whipped topping over the chocolate syrup layer, spreading it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results before serving.

Notes

You can customize the fruits and use gluten-free or dairy-free alternatives.
