A delightful no-bake dessert combining the flavors of a classic banana split, layered with creamy goodness, fresh bananas, and chocolate syrup.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar gradually, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in one cup of whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture over the graham cracker crust.
- Evenly distribute the sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer. Follow with a layer of crushed pineapple, spreading it gently.
- Pour chocolate syrup generously over the fruit layer.
- Add the remaining whipped topping over the chocolate syrup layer, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results before serving.
