Description

An engaging narwhal craft project that combines creativity, fine motor skills development, and educational discussions about marine life.

Ingredients

  • Colored cardstock (blue, white, and any other preferred colors)
  • Scissors
  • Glue or a glue stick
  • Markers or crayons
  • Googly eyes
  • Glitter (optional)
  • Narwhal template (printable)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your materials on a clean, flat surface and spread out newspaper to catch spills.
  2. Print the narwhal template from your chosen source and carefully cut out the shapes from the colored cardstock.
  3. Use the blue cardstock for the body, folding it slightly to create a 3D effect (optional).
  4. Glue the googly eyes onto the surface to bring your narwhal to life, and use markers or crayons for additional features and designs.
  5. Sprinkle glitter on wet glue for extra flair.
  6. Attach the tusk using a triangle of white cardstock and secure any additional decorations.
  7. Allow the glue to dry completely before displaying your craft.

Notes

Customize colors and textures to create unique narwhals. Consider pairing the craft activity with ocean-themed snacks for a fun experience.
