Description

Create a vibrant melted bead suncatcher that transforms light into colorful reflections, adding warmth and beauty to any space.

Ingredients

  • Clear plastic beads (perler beads or similar)
  • Silicone molds (any shape that inspires you)
  • An oven or toaster oven (for melting)
  • Parchment paper (for easy clean-up)
  • Cooking tray (to hold the molds)
  • Safety goggles (for eye protection)
  • Heat-resistant gloves (to keep your hands safe)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Choose a silicone mold that resonates with you and place it on a cooking tray.
  3. Begin placing your clear beads into the mold, enjoying the vibrant colors.
  4. Fill each cavity of the mold with beads, leaving some space for melting.
  5. Once filled, carefully place the tray in the oven.
  6. Set a timer for about 10-15 minutes and keep an eye on them as they melt.
  7. When melting is complete, remove the tray using heat-resistant gloves.
  8. Allow the mold to cool for a few minutes before gently popping your suncatcher out.
  9. If desired, attach a string or hook to hang your suncatcher in a sunny spot.

Notes

Store the suncatcher safely when not in use and dust gently with a soft cloth to keep it vibrant.
