Ingredients
- Air-dry clay (easy to find at craft stores)

Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Find a quiet, comfortable spot where you can spread out your materials. Take a moment to breathe and center yourself.
- Knead the Clay: Take a chunk of air-dry clay and knead it in your hands for a few minutes. Feel its coolness and the way it begins to warm up.
- Add Colors: Break off smaller pieces of clay and mix in a small amount of acrylic paint. As you knead, enjoy watching the colors swirl and blend.
- Roll Out the Clay: Use a rolling pin to flatten the marbled clay into a disc shape, about 1/4 inch thick. Enjoy the soft texture beneath your hands as you roll.
- Create the Shape: Gently place a small bowl or plate upside down on the flattened clay. Press down lightly to create a shape that will become your planter or dish.
- Trim Edges: Use a craft knife to trim any excess clay along the edges, creating a clean finish. Savor the feeling of control and creative expression.
- Add Details: With a toothpick or skewer, you can add designs or details to your piece. Let your imagination guide you.
- Let It Dry: Allow your creation to dry completely, which may take 24-48 hours. During this time, find peace in the waiting — the anticipation is part of the joy.
- Seal if Desired: Once dry, you might choose to apply a clear sealant for additional durability. Allow it to dry fully again.
