Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of salt
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar
- Food coloring (pink, purple, blue, etc.)
- Optional: Essential oils for fragrance
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar. Mix the dry ingredients together until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add a few drops of food coloring to create your desired unicorn colors.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring with a spoon. Mix until a dough begins to form; it will be sticky.
- Turn the sticky mixture onto a floured surface. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is smooth and stretchy.
- If you’d like, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil during kneading for an extra sensory experience.
- Place the dough into an airtight container to keep it fresh for future playtime.
