  • Cooking thermometer
  • Large saucepan
  • Wooden spoon
  • Candy molds or parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing and cleaning your countertop.
  2. Dust your candy molds or parchment paper with cornstarch to prevent sticking.
  3. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a large saucepan.
  4. Stir the mixture over medium heat until boiling.
  5. Heat to a soft-ball stage, heating until it reaches approximately 235°F (113°C).
  6. Add food coloring and flavor extracts to the mixture and mix well.
  7. Pour the mixture into molds or shape it on parchment paper.
  8. Let it cool undisturbed until completely set.
