Ingredients

  • Large white coffee filters
  • Water-based markers or food coloring
  • Spray bottle filled with water
  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners
  • A tray or workspace
  • Newspaper or paper towels
  • Optional: glitter or sequins

Instructions

  1. Begin by laying out your coffee filters on the newspaper.
  2. Choose your markers or colors, and start applying them to the coffee filters.
  3. Mist the filters lightly with water from your spray bottle.
  4. Allow the filters to dry completely.
  5. Once dry, take each filter and pinch the center.
  6. Use scissors to round off the edges or cut small notches for texture.
  7. Secure the gathered center with a pipe cleaner.
  8. Fluff and arrange the petals to your liking.
  9. Display your freshly made flowers wherever you find joy.
