Delicious and fun pumpkin pie pops shaped like jack-o’-lanterns, perfect for fall gatherings and Halloween celebrations.
Ingredients
- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 cup pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
- ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Flour (for dusting)
- Cookie cutter (jack-o’-lantern shape)
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
Instructions
- Combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin pie spice, and salt in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Roll out the pie crusts to about ¼ inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
- Using the jack-o’-lantern cookie cutter, cut out shapes from the dough.
- Place a spoonful of pumpkin filling in the center of half of the cutouts.
- Top with another cutout, press down the edges gently to seal, and crimp with a fork.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pops.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, arrange the pops, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
You can customize the filling or substitute ingredients for different flavors. Freeze unbaked pops for later use.
