Description

Creamy and fruity blueberry butter that’s perfect for spreading on toast, swirling into yogurt, or using in baked goods.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens, about 20-30 minutes.
  3. Once thickened, pour the blueberry butter into clean jars.
  4. Process in a water bath for sealing (optional) or refrigerate immediately.
