Create beautiful coffee filter peonies to bring a touch of nature and creativity into your home.
Ingredients
- White or brown coffee filters
- Scissors
- Green floral wire (optional)
- Floral tape (optional)
- Water-based markers or food coloring
- Small cup of water (optional)
- A clean workspace
Instructions
- Start by stacking four to five coffee filters together neatly.
- Gently fold the filters in half and then in half again.
- Using scissors, round the edges of the top of the folded filters.
- Open the folded filters slightly and use markers or food coloring to add color.
- Dip your fingers into the water to help the colors spread.
- Once dry, begin separating each layer of filter.
- When you achieve your desired bloom shape, insert floral wire and secure it with tape.
- Finally, shape your petals and stem as desired.
Notes
Store your flowers in a cool, dry place and gently wipe them with a soft cloth to remove dust.
