Description

Create beautiful coffee filter peonies to bring a touch of nature and creativity into your home.

Ingredients

  • White or brown coffee filters
  • Scissors
  • Green floral wire (optional)
  • Floral tape (optional)
  • Water-based markers or food coloring
  • Small cup of water (optional)
  • A clean workspace

Instructions

  1. Start by stacking four to five coffee filters together neatly.
  2. Gently fold the filters in half and then in half again.
  3. Using scissors, round the edges of the top of the folded filters.
  4. Open the folded filters slightly and use markers or food coloring to add color.
  5. Dip your fingers into the water to help the colors spread.
  6. Once dry, begin separating each layer of filter.
  7. When you achieve your desired bloom shape, insert floral wire and secure it with tape.
  8. Finally, shape your petals and stem as desired.

Notes

Store your flowers in a cool, dry place and gently wipe them with a soft cloth to remove dust.
