Description

Delightful Homemade Kool-Aid Fruit Roll-Ups made from fresh fruit and a hint of Kool-Aid, perfect for a nostalgic snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, peaches, or your favorite)
  • 1 cup sugar (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 packet Kool-Aid (your favorite flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Blender or food processor
  • Rubber spatula

Instructions

  1. Begin by washing and preparing your fresh fruit. Remove any stems and chop them into small pieces.
  2. Add the chopped fruit into your blender or food processor, along with the Kool-Aid, sugar, and lemon juice.
  3. Blend until the mixture becomes a smooth puree.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the fruit mixture onto the parchment, spreading it evenly into a thin layer.
  6. Place the baking sheet in your oven at a low temperature (around 170°F or 77°C) for approximately 6 to 8 hours.
  7. Once no longer tacky to the touch, take it out of the oven and let it cool slightly.
  8. Cut it into strips or desired shapes.
  9. Roll the strips up gently and store them in an airtight container.
