Description

Create your own glowing bounce balls for fun and mindfulness with simple materials.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 tablespoon warm water
  • 12 teaspoons baking soda (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Food coloring (your choice)
  • Glow powder or glow-in-the-dark paint (non-toxic)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon for stirring
  • Small measuring cup
  • Clean working surface

Instructions

  1. Pour about one cup of white school glue into your mixing bowl.
  2. Add a tablespoon of warm water to the glue.
  3. Sprinkle in one to two teaspoons of baking soda.
  4. Slowly add in a teaspoon of cornstarch.
  5. Add a drop of food coloring to the mixture.
  6. Sprinkle in your glow powder or add glow-in-the-dark paint.
  7. Mix thoroughly until blended.
  8. Form the mixture into balls using your hands.
  9. Allow the balls to sit on a clean surface for about 1 hour to set.
  10. Test the balls by giving them a gentle toss to enjoy their bounce.
