Description
Create enchanting glow-in-the-dark ghost jars that add a spooky touch to your home decor, perfect for Halloween or any ghostly gathering.
Ingredients
- Glass or plastic jars (mason jars work great)
- White paint (acrylic works best)
- Glow-in-the-dark paint
- Paintbrushes or sponges
- Black cardstock or paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Optional: LED tea lights
Instructions
- Gather all materials in a well-lit area and lay down a protective covering on your work surface.
- Wash and dry your jars thoroughly to remove any residue.
- Use white paint to cover the outside of each jar. Apply a second coat if needed for a solid color.
- Cut out spooky shapes (eyes, mouths) from black cardstock and glue these shapes onto the dried white-painted jar.
- Apply glow-in-the-dark paint over the ghost faces, ensuring an even coat; let the paint dry completely.
- If desired, place an LED tea light inside the jar for an added glow and display your ghost jars in a dark area to see them shine!
