Transform simple eggshells into stunning, glittering decorations that sparkle with colorful crystals.
Ingredients
- Empty eggshells (cleaned and dried)
- White school glue
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Epsom salt or sugar (for crystal formation)
- Glitter (optional)
- Paintbrush
- Baking tray or plate
- Water
Instructions
- Clean and Dry: Ensure eggshells are thoroughly rinsed and dried.
- Place on Tray: Arrange eggshells upright on a baking tray.
- Mix the Glue: Combine white school glue with a few drops of water in a bowl.
- Add Colors: Add food coloring to the glue mixture.
- Paint the Inside: Coat the inside of each eggshell with the glue and coloring mixture using a paintbrush.
- Sprinkle Crystals: Generously sprinkle Epsom salt or sugar into decorated shells.
- Let Them Dry: Allow filled eggshells to dry on the tray for at least 24 hours.
- Check for Crystals: Observe the crystallization process inside the shells after drying.
