Description
Create a beautiful frosted glass candle holder that adds warmth and serenity to any space.
Ingredients
- Clear glass candle holder
- Frosted glass spray paint
- Painter’s tape (optional)
- Newspaper or drop cloth
- Baking sheet or cardboard
- Clean cloth
Instructions
- Begin by selecting a space to work. Lay down your newspaper or drop cloth to protect the surface.
- If you want clean lines, use painter’s tape to mask off areas.
- Gently shake your frosted glass spray paint canister.
- From about 8–12 inches away, begin to spray your glass with even, sweeping motions.
- Allow your first coat to dry fully, which takes about 10–15 minutes.
- Once the first layer is dry, apply a second coat to amplify the frosted effect.
- After your final coat, place the candle holder on a baking sheet or cardboard to dry completely.
- Once dry, remove any painter’s tape and wipe away overspray with the clean cloth.
Notes
Experiment with colors and textures to make it uniquely yours. Avoid using abrasive cleaners to maintain the frosted finish.
