Description

Create beautiful floral resin egg ornaments that preserve flowers and memories in enchanting keepsakes.

Ingredients

  • Clear epoxy resin (two-part system)
  • Hardener (same brand as resin)
  • Silicone egg mold (various sizes)
  • Dried flowers (lavender, rose petals, small ferns)
  • Mixing cups (disposable or reusable)
  • Stirring sticks (wooden popsicle sticks)
  • Gloves (to keep your hands clean)
  • Small tweezers (for precise placement)
  • A disposable drop cloth (to protect your workspace)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace with a drop cloth to protect surfaces.
  2. Put on your gloves to keep hands tidy.
  3. Measure equal parts of resin and hardener in separate cups.
  4. Pour the resin and hardener into a mixing cup.
  5. Stir gently for 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture is clear.
  6. Pour a thin layer of resin into the mold.
  7. Place your dried flowers gently into the mold using tweezers.
  8. Cover the flowers completely with another layer of resin.
  9. Tap the sides of the mold to release trapped air bubbles.
  10. Let the mold sit undisturbed for 24 hours to cure.

Notes

Store completed ornaments in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to prevent fading.
