Ingredients
- Clear epoxy resin (two-part system)
- Hardener (same brand as resin)
- Silicone egg mold (various sizes)
- Dried flowers (lavender, rose petals, small ferns)
- Mixing cups (disposable or reusable)
- Stirring sticks (wooden popsicle sticks)
- Gloves (to keep your hands clean)
- Small tweezers (for precise placement)
- A disposable drop cloth (to protect your workspace)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace with a drop cloth to protect surfaces.
- Put on your gloves to keep hands tidy.
- Measure equal parts of resin and hardener in separate cups.
- Pour the resin and hardener into a mixing cup.
- Stir gently for 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture is clear.
- Pour a thin layer of resin into the mold.
- Place your dried flowers gently into the mold using tweezers.
- Cover the flowers completely with another layer of resin.
- Tap the sides of the mold to release trapped air bubbles.
- Let the mold sit undisturbed for 24 hours to cure.
Notes
Store completed ornaments in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to prevent fading.
