Description

Create delightful coffee filter flower straws that add a whimsical touch to your home decor while enjoying a calming crafting experience.

Ingredients

  • Coffee filters (plain or colored)
  • Green paper straws or wooden skewers
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue or glue stick
  • Optional: markers or watercolor paints

Instructions

  1. Start with a stack of coffee filters. If you have colored ones, feel free to mix and match for a vibrant result.
  2. Take a single filter and gently fold it in half to create a crease.
  3. Cut a petal shape along the folded edge to reveal a flower shape.
  4. Repeat the cutting process with more filters, varying sizes for interest.
  5. Layer several cut filters on top of each other to form a flower.
  6. Use a small amount of glue to secure the layers together.
  7. Once your flower is formed, slide a green straw through the center.
  8. To finish, embellish your flowers using markers or paints.

Notes

Store finished flowers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. These flowers can be reformed or reused for different occasions.
