Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean, dry bowl, combine egg whites and cream of tartar, then beat until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to mix until stiff, glossy peaks form.
- Gently fold in the Jello mix and vanilla extract.
- Use a piping bag or spoon to dollop mounds onto the parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1-1.5 hours until dry and crisp.
- Turn off the oven and leave the meringues inside to cool completely.
