Description

Transform coffee filters into beautiful, vibrant flowers through a simple and mindful crafting process.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 coffee filters per flower
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolors
  • A small bowl of water
  • Soft brushes or droppers
  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners or floral wire
  • Optional: glitter or sequins

Instructions

  1. Start by selecting your food coloring. Mix a few drops with water in a small bowl, creating a gentle wash.
  2. Take one coffee filter and dip your brush into the colored water. Let the colors blend beautifully on the filter.
  3. Lay the filter flat and allow it to dry completely.
  4. Once dry, stack six filters neatly, arranging them from the darkest in the center to the lightest on the outside.
  5. Begin to pinch the center together, creating a bloom shape.
  6. Take your pipe cleaner or floral wire and wrap it around the gathered filters.
  7. Adjust the layers to make them fluffy and full.
  8. Once you’ve shaped your flowers, arrange them in a vase or display them flat on a surface.

Notes

These flowers require little maintenance and can be reshaped or dusted easily. Store them in a cool, dry place to maintain color longevity.
