Description

Create playful twirling ladybugs with colorful felt and simple materials, perfect for brightening any space.

Ingredients

  • Colorful felt sheets (red, black, green)
  • Small buttons or beads (for eyes)
  • Twine or thin string
  • Scissors (sharp but safe)
  • Hot glue gun (with glue sticks)
  • Lightweight cardboard or paper (for the base)
  • Optional: Fabric markers (for added details)

Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting small circles from the colorful felt, around 3 inches in diameter.
  2. Cut out tiny wings from black felt, about half the size of the body circles.
  3. Use your hot glue gun to attach the wings to a felt circle.
  4. Take your buttons or beads, and glue them onto the body circle for eyes.
  5. Cut a small piece of twine and glue one end to the back of the ladybug for a hanger.
  6. For the base, cut a flat circle or square from cardboard or thicker paper.
  7. Glue your ladybug onto the base and secure the twine if necessary.
  8. Once everything is dry, hang them in a sunny spot to twirl gently.

Notes

Store in a soft, padded box away from direct sunlight. Keep them in good condition by reshaping them if needed.
