Description

Create beautiful DIY suncatchers that reflect light and bring joy to your home.

Ingredients

  • Transparent plastic sheets (easy to find at craft stores)
  • Colorful tissue paper (choose colors that bring you joy)
  • Scissors (for crafting shapes)
  • Glue (craft glue works well)
  • Hole punch (for hanging)
  • String or fishing line (to suspend your suncatcher)
  • Optional: decorative elements like beads or ribbons

Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting the transparent plastic sheets into your desired shapes.
  2. Next, tear or cut your colorful tissue paper into smaller pieces.
  3. Take your plastic shapes and spread a thin layer of glue over one side.
  4. Once you have the desired look, let the glue dry for a few minutes.
  5. After the glue has dried, punch a hole at the top of each suncatcher.
  6. Cut a length of string or fishing line, tying a secure knot through the hole you punched.
  7. Finally, find a sunny window or a spot where the light hits well and hang your suncatcher.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different materials and colors.
