A charming and festive DIY project to create a snowman candy dish for the holidays.
Ingredients
- 3 clear glass or plastic bowls (varying sizes)
- White spray paint (or white acrylic paint)
- Black felt or paper for the eyes and buttons
- Orange felt or paper for the nose
- Ribbon or fabric for the scarf
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Optional: Additional decorations (like a mini hat or ornaments)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Set up a clean, well-ventilated workspace. Lay down newspaper or a drop cloth for easy cleanup.
- Paint the Bowls: Spray paint the outside of each bowl white (or use a brush for acrylic). Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Assemble the Snowman: Stack the bowls from largest to smallest.
- Secure the Layers: Use hot glue to adhere the bowls together firmly.
- Add Facial Features: Cut out circles for eyes and buttons, and a triangle for the nose. Glue onto the smallest bowl.
- Accessorize with a Scarf: Wrap a piece of ribbon or fabric around the neck of the snowman.
- Fill with Candies: Fill the bowls with your favorite holiday sweets.
