- Twine or jute string
- Googly eyes
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Straw or raffia

- Prepare Your Jars: Clean and dry the glass jars thoroughly. If desired, remove any labels.
- Paint the Jar: Using craft paint, apply a coat of orange to represent the scarecrow’s head. Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Create the Face: Once dry, use glue to attach googly eyes to the jar. Cut a small piece of fabric to make a nose and glue it below the eyes.
- Add Hair: Use straw or raffia to create hair. Secure it on top of the jar with twine or jute string, wrapping it several times for a neat finish.
- Dress Your Scarecrow: Cut fabric scraps to create a scarf or collar around the jar. Secure it in place with more twine if desired.
