Ingredients

  • Clear epoxy resin
  • Resin mixing cups and stirring sticks
  • Protective gloves
  • A flat silicone mold
  • A toothpick
  • A drop cloth or old newspapers
  • Optional: a small battery-operated light

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by laying down a drop cloth or newspapers.
  2. Gather and arrange your dried flowers.
  3. Mix the epoxy resin according to the package instructions.
  4. Pour a thin layer of resin into the mold.
  5. Carefully place your dried flowers into the resin.
  6. Pour another layer of resin over the flowers.
  7. Use a toothpick to gently pop any trapped bubbles.
  8. Let the resin cure according to package instructions.
  9. Once cured, gently remove the suncatcher from the mold.
  10. Attach a ribbon or string for hanging.
