Description

Create a delightful DIY Paper Spinner Craft with simple materials that encourages creativity and tranquility.

Ingredients

  • Lightweight paper (scrapbook or printer paper)
  • Scissors
  • A pencil
  • A paper fastener (optional)
  • A ruler
  • Markers or crayons

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting a square piece of paper to your desired size, perhaps four to six inches on each side.
  2. Fold the square in half diagonally, creating a triangle.
  3. Open the triangle back to a square and then fold it in half the other way.
  4. Unfold the paper again and mark the center where the lines meet.
  5. Starting from each corner, cut towards the center but stop about half an inch from the middle.
  6. Lift and gently bend each flap towards the center.
  7. If using a paper fastener, poke it through the center where all the flaps meet.
  8. Once the flaps are secure, give your spinner a gentle twist and watch it come to life.

Notes

Store the spinner in a dry place to avoid wrinkles. Consider using soft fabric to protect it.
