  • Candy thermometer
  • Lollipop molds
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Silicone spatula
  • Parchment paper


Instructions

  1. Gather Materials: Ensure you have all materials within reach to streamline the process.
  2. Line your Mold: Place parchment paper under your lollipop molds to catch any drips.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a saucepan, mix sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir gently.
  4. Heat and Monitor: Place the saucepan over medium heat. Use a candy thermometer to monitor the mixture as it heats.
  5. Cook until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  6. Remove from Heat: Once at the desired temperature, take off the heat.
  7. Add Colors: Quickly add a few drops of food coloring and mix thoroughly using your spatula.
  8. Incorporate Flavors: Add your chosen flavoring extracts to the mixture, stirring until well blended.
  9. Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared lollipop molds, filling them to the top.
  10. Insert Sticks: Place a lollipop stick into each mold, ensuring it’s straight and centered.
  11. Allow the lollipops to cool completely at room temperature.
  12. Once cooled, gently remove the lollipops from the molds.
  13. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.
