Instructions
- Gather Materials: Ensure you have all materials within reach to streamline the process.
- Line your Mold: Place parchment paper under your lollipop molds to catch any drips.
- Combine Ingredients: In a saucepan, mix sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir gently.
- Heat and Monitor: Place the saucepan over medium heat. Use a candy thermometer to monitor the mixture as it heats.
- Cook until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from Heat: Once at the desired temperature, take off the heat.
- Add Colors: Quickly add a few drops of food coloring and mix thoroughly using your spatula.
- Incorporate Flavors: Add your chosen flavoring extracts to the mixture, stirring until well blended.
- Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared lollipop molds, filling them to the top.
- Insert Sticks: Place a lollipop stick into each mold, ensuring it’s straight and centered.
- Allow the lollipops to cool completely at room temperature.
- Once cooled, gently remove the lollipops from the molds.
- Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.
