Create a calming DIY Glitter Jar that serves as a visual meditation tool to promote mindfulness and relaxation.
Ingredients
- A clean glass jar with a lid
- Water (preferably warm)
- Glitter (fine or chunky)
- Clear glue (or glitter glue)
- Optional: food coloring
- Optional: small decorative items (such as sequins, beads, or small shells)
Instructions
- Prepare your jar by holding it in your hands to enjoy its weight.
- Mix warm water into the jar until it’s halfway full, then add about 1/4 cup of clear glue. Stir gently.
- Add glitter to the mixture and, if desired, a drop of food coloring. Mix carefully.
- Fill the jar with more warm water, leaving a little space at the top for the lid.
- Seal the jar tightly with the lid and give it a gentle shake.
- Let the jar rest as the glitter settles for a moment.
- Enjoy your creation and place it in a visible spot.
Notes
Store in a safe place away from direct sunlight. Refresh the jar by adding more water and glitter as desired.
