Description

Create beautiful DIY glass bead sun catchers that shine in the sunlight, perfect for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • Glass beads (various sizes and colors)
  • A clear acrylic or glass base (round or oval mold)
  • Fishing line or thin twine
  • Scissors
  • Optional: UV resin or craft glue
  • Optional: A paintbrush

Instructions

  1. Choose your base mold.
  2. Lay out the glass beads in your desired design.
  3. Begin securing your design by threading fishing line through each bead.
  4. Pull the line taut enough to hold the beads.
  5. If using glue, apply it lightly to secure the beads.
  6. Trim any excess fishing line, leaving enough to create a loop for hanging.
  7. Create a small knot at the top for hanging your sun catcher.
  8. Find a sunny window to hang and enjoy the display.

Notes

Store sun catchers in a safe place when not in use. They can be easily modified for new designs.
