Ingredients
- Heart-shaped silicone mold
- Clear epoxy resin
- Hardener
- Fresh or dried flowers
- Mixing cups
- Popsicle sticks or stirring sticks
- Gloves
- Heat gun or lighter (optional)
- Small tweezers
- Drop cloth or newspaper
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by covering your table with a drop cloth or newspaper.
- Put on your gloves to keep your hands safe from the resin.
- Use your mixing cup to measure out equal parts of the resin and hardener.
- Stir the resin mixture slowly using a popsicle stick.
- Select your flowers and arrange them in the heart-shaped silicone mold.
- Pour the mixed resin over the flowers gently.
- To eliminate any bubbles, lightly wave a heat gun or lighter over the top.
- Allow the heart to cure according to the resin’s instructions.
- After curing, gently remove the heart from the mold.
- Give your heart keepsake a final wash with soap and water.
